Confessions Of A Pale Nail Convert

Lets talk manicures because they are a must for every women. I'm into short colorful nails these days. I'm so bored with the pale nail. I just can't look at another French manicure. Rest assured that Parisian women are not flooding the streets of Paris with this look. I'm not exactly sure they ever have.

I want something refreshing and youthful like Mac's Gold Veneer lacquer. This is a great color for me to get reacquainted with my nails in color because it's colorful without being colorful.



Now I've found that the more adventurous and fashion forward girls are sporting colors like Siberian Nights or Midnight In Moscow. I am loving any color close to these shades. They're fun, fashionable and a welcome change but be careful not to get too close to that shade of raisin. You know the color. It can't decide if it's brown or red and ends up looking old ladyish.

Please note that wearing these darker colors is a commitment. You must have super short nails to pull it off or you'll wind up looking like some soap opera siren from the 80's. That's not an 80's look that has made a comeback. Also note that the man in your life may find your new fabulous nails to be a little freaky but he'll trust in your all glam judgement and get use to it.
